The etiology acquired LTS dominated by prolonged tracheal intubation. diagnosis based on endoscopic examination and computed tomography scan imaging providing an exact analysis lesion, precise measurements. We report descriptive retrospective review medical records cohort 18 patients, treated between January 2015 2018 for LTS. results showed predominance in young males. majority (73%) was hospitalized reanimation unit under intubation while others (27%) underwent tracheostomy. location 69% laryngeal 23%, laryngotracheal 8%, degree obstruction exceeded 70% 11.2%. treatment dilatation endoluminal calibration Montgomery T-tube 77.7% our circumferential resection CO2 laser 11.1%, posterior cordectomy 11.1% cases. surgical relied followed 61.1% termino-terminal anastomosis 11%, supraglottic partial laryngectomy one patient. follow-up major improvement clinical symptomatology, but biggest challenge remains occurrence restenosis. needs to be always considered patients inspiratory dyspnea history It requires exhaustive exploration multidisciplinary management long-term prevent detect early signs eventual recurrence.
